Remote Seal Type Differential Pressure Transmitter

1. Wetted Materials:Isolating diaphragms: 316LSST, 316LSST+Gold plated, Monel, Hastelloy® C-276, Tantalum, Titanium, Nickel.
2. Flange material: 316 SST, 304 SST or carbon steel.
3. Filled fluid: Silicone oil, high temperature oil, low temperature oil, inert oil, food oil.
4. Housing type: Aluminum alloy/316 SST;Cable Entry:½-14NPT or M20×1.5 female thread;IP66/67.
5. Process Connector:Flange type conforms to ANSI, DIN,HG 20592, HG 20615 and GB.
6. Diaphragm Extension:0mm, 50mm, 100mm, 150mm or 200mm.
7. On 50A(2B) pipe using mounting bracket, Process-wetted use flange mounting, flange clamping method (Wafer type)
8. Capillary Material:316 SST;Armor of Capillary:Stainless steel sheathed or stainless steel sheathed +PVC coated.

Product Uses

The device is used for the following measuring tasks:

1. Liquids Level, volume or mass measurements in open/closed tank

2.High process temperatures up to 350 °C (Liquid metal -10~700°C) possible with diaphragm seal mount

3. Flow measurement (volume flow or mass flow)  in gases, vapors  with temperature/pressure sensor or liquids


What is a remote seal transmitter?

A remote seal transmitter measures pressure through a diaphragm seal + fill fluid (often via capillary), keeping the sensor isolated from the process. It’s used for hot, corrosive, viscous, crystallizing, or sanitary media to prevent plugging and protect the sensing element.


What is the purpose of a differential pressure transmitter?

A differential pressure (DP) transmitter measures ΔP between two points to monitor/control key process variables—most commonly flow (orifice/venturi), level in pressurized tanks, and pressure drop across filters, heat exchangers, or piping.


Remote Seal Type Differential Pressure Transmitter vs Remote Seal Differential Pressure Transmitter

In practice, “Remote Seal Type DP Transmitter” usually refers to a dedicated remote-seal configuration (typically double remote seals on both HP/LP sides, i.e., double-flange DP for closed-tank level/flow). “Remote Seal DP Transmitter” is a broader term that may include single-seal setups (one side sealed, the other vented) or a DP body combined with a seal system. The key difference is the seal configuration and application, not the measurement principle.
