The CVP2000 series intelligent valve positioner represents a new generation of high-performance, microprocessor-equipped intelligent valve positioners. The intelligent positioner receives DC current signals from the control device and controls pneumatic control valves.
Beyond this fundamental function, the CVP2000 incorporates communication capabilities, an automatic configuration programme, and self-diagnostic functions, significantly enhancing productivity and plant operational efficiency. These advanced capabilities may also be realised via a HART communicator or a centralised system utilising a HART modem.
The CVP2000 series is suitable for stable operation with linear or rotary control valves employing either single-acting (spring-return) pneumatic actuators or double-acting pneumatic actuators.
